Those Romans, eh? Writing is hard; very hard. To me, the Latin above really resonates and exemplifies the time, effort and dedication involved in writing a novel. But the colossal workout does not (unfortunately) end there. Market research, promotion, advertising and a whole load of other donkey-work is involved to get that treasured book off the ground, but "alis grave nil" - nothing is heavy with wings. Indeed, if you have the desire, determination and perhaps the most important component of all, a good supportive group or team behind you, nothing is impossible: everything and anything is in fact, possible. This website is designed to not just help realise my dreams of "making it as an author," but to give you hope - or courage - in your pursuit of that goal too. The umbrella company, Pipeline International (of which The Serengeti Plane is part of), is also designed to help facilitate and promote new authors like me - and you. We are in the same boat. Let us see in that safe harbour together.
